During the weekend of April 19-21, the first Endurocamp of 2024 took place in Brezno, on the BMT Lúčky track, under the leadership of the RMoto Academy team. This concentration was held for the second time in the campus near Peťa Belek. As usual, the weather was cold and wet, but the riders took it as a challenge, not an obstacle.
Participants from different parts of the country appreciated the possibility of accommodation right on the track, which was a great advantage. After a hard day, they could take a quick shower, dry things and get ready for the next day. The track was prepared to be passable in all conditions.
We were pleased with the weather on Friday, as it was warm and without rain, which was ideal for training on a plasticine surface. Before the start of each day, the riders walked the track and then completed a timed lap. In addition to the entire track, individual sections were also ridden, where we tried different tracks and variants of crossings. During the day, we focused on the individual "problems" of the riders, such as driving in deep ruts or jumping benches.
A big plus in the campus are the safe jumps, which provide ideal conditions for learning. Those who did not have suitable motorcycles but wanted to try the Endurocamp took advantage of the discounted all-day rental of a new Husqvarna motorcycle, thanks to the authorized dealer SP Moto, who provided motorcycles directly to the track.
The Endurocamp concentration turned out to be excellent, and we believe that the guys took away new knowledge and the training will move them in the right direction towards safe handling of the motorcycle, or help them in their racing journey.
