Celodenný motokrosový tréning v Národnom motokrosovom centre Sverepec

All-day motocross training at the National Motocross Center Sverepec

At the National Motocross Center Sverepec near Považská Bystrica, we organized a full-day training for four participants, three women and one man. The ladies came without their own motorbikes and equipment, so we provided everything completely and adapted it to their physique and experience. The weather was cloudless, about 10 °C in autumn; the track offered several sections for safe training and the right part near the mine remained under maintenance after the recent race, so we worked on other sections of the circuit.

In the morning we met directly on the track, went through initial instructions on safety, flags and movement in the pits, put on our gear and set up the motorcycles, levers, freewheels, tire pressure and preload under the rider. The morning belonged to technique: a stable position in the footrests, working with the body and gaze, braking dosage and smooth transitions to the pace. After a warm lunch directly on the track, a short video analysis on a laptop followed, where everyone received specific feedback on the track, stance, throttle work and braking. In the afternoon we transferred our new skills to riding, first in sections and then on the entire track. The day went by without any crashes; the pace grew naturally and safely.

When choosing equipment, we aimed for easy-to-handle four-strokes suitable for motocross and enduro training.
Motorcycles (model year 2025):

  • Husqvarna FE 250 (2025) – agile 4T ideal for confidence and gas work

  • Husqvarna FE 350 (2025) – more “thrust” without losing control, great for exiting corners

  • KTM 250 SX-F (2025) – a modern 4T MX with a very usable power range for rhythm and pace

  • KTM 350 SX-F (2025) – mid-volume with versatile traction and stability

One bike had absolutely zero hours, so we chose the break-in mode – it was ideal for a new rider. After the first few laps, we fine-tuned the settings based on how we felt and progressed.

The group consisted of Veronika, who trained with us for the second time (she had previously come with her daughter and this time brought a friend), Jarka as a new participant, who was looking for a suitable summer date and finally found the right group, and Jožko, who returns to us regularly, approximately for the third to fifth time. A clear shift was visible in everyone: Veronika stabilized her stance and kept the track cleaner in the turns, Jarka went from a cautious start to a smooth pace, and Jožko smoothed out the rhythm of the circuit and the exits from the turns. The feedback was clear – “bomb, we want to continue” – and we are just as looking forward to the next training.

The entire format is suitable for complete beginners and intermediate riders, including female riders who want to start safely and stress-free. If you don't have your own equipment or motorcycle, RMoto Academy will provide and set everything up; we will add video analysis and a specific development plan so that you know what to work on for your next rides.
