This week we completed a full-day individual motocross training in the area of the National Motocross Center in Sverepec, specifically on Tuesday. Our client who decided to go to the motocross school was a beginner, although he has several years of riding a road bike on the circuit.
For starters, he chose a suitable quieter enduro bike, namely a Husqvarna FE 250 4-stroke, which was an ideal decision for someone with previous experience and basic skills. During training, we focused primarily on building good riding fundamentals. At the beginning of the day, we devoted an hour to adjusting and adapting the motorcycle to the rider.
This had a big effect as the rider was 175cm tall and the bike was still new which meant the chassis was still stiff and unbroken. Therefore, he was not able to reach the ground well, which prevented him from gaining confidence in slow maneuvers. However, this change in chassis setup allowed it to improve stability and feel secure, even when driving slowly. T thus, the client could enjoy the whole day to the fullest and he himself felt a big difference, because even though he was riding at home on his home track, he couldn't handle certain techniques.
In training, we showed him what he should focus on when driving alone. Now the client will improve and practice the learned techniques on his home track. After some time, as he mentioned, he plans to come for another one-on-one training to make sure he is doing the techniques he learned correctly and so we can take him to the next level and teach him new techniques that he wouldn't have been able to do without the previous trainings. He realized that he was buying from us our many years of experience, not just ordinary services.
In addition to the training itself, we also made a video analysis of his driving, held educational workshops and drove to different sections on the track. The overall training was challenging and fruitful, focusing on perfecting technique and acquiring well-rounded motocross skills.
