Keď štandardné motoškoly nestačia

When standard motorcycle schools are not enough

This time, a rider from Brno, Zuzana, came to Považská Bystrica to join us. She has already attended several motorcycle schools, but still hasn't found what she was really looking for. The goal was to go deeper. To focus exclusively on the technical details and blocks that were holding her back from further progress.

Zuzana has been riding for about two years, but earlier this year she completed a demanding trip abroad, where she suffered a shoulder injury. This was followed by a period of forced rest for several months, during which she recovered, but lost confidence on the motorcycle. That is why she approached us with the aim of regaining control and technical confidence, without pressure, individually and at her own pace.

Right from the start, we set up her new Husqvarna FE 250 motorcycle together. This model is an excellent choice for riders looking for control, smoothness and easy handling without the aggressiveness typical of sharp motocross versions. Zuzana made a very good decision.

We fully adapted the training to her technical skills and physical condition. We chose a suitable track that allowed for a gradual increase in difficulty without unnecessary pressure. In each section, we focused on her own feeling of riding. In places where she felt insecure, we stayed longer and broke down mental blocks step by step.

The result? Significant progress in just one day. Zuzana regained her self-confidence, improved her balance, bodywork, and climbing technique. We are already planning a continuation that will help her prepare for further challenges, whether on local routes in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, or in the future on foreign expeditions. At the moment, we do not recommend extreme destinations like Nepal, but with gradual training and proper guidance, she will definitely get closer to her goal.

Sunny weather, ideal dust-free conditions and an individual approach created an excellent environment for intensive and safe training.

However, one important thing should be added: when choosing a suitable instructor, trainer or motorcycle school, it is not enough to look only at the price. The decisive factor should be, above all, expertise. Experience from racing, participation in major competitions, representation of the country, but also relevant coaching licenses and certificates, all play a key role in the final result of the training.

Not everyone recognizes bad habits, knows how to identify technical reserves and propose practical solutions. It is in this regard that we dare to say that in Slovakia we are among the exceptional exceptions, we focus on each rider individually and work purposefully on their development.

In recent years, especially in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the bag of so-called wannabe instructors has burst. They offer a low price, but often without real knowledge and experience. The result is more likely to be confusion and bad habits, which are very difficult to break later. Therefore, we recommend that anyone looking for quality training check the reviews, look at the instructor's history, results, qualifications and abilities. Quality and expertise should be the deciding factor. Not just price.
