On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, we had the opportunity to experience something very special. In collaboration with BMW Motorrad, we organized a private filming day, during which professional commercials and unique video footage were created. These were taken care of by a renowned cameraman, who captured the atmosphere and dynamics of the rides in the perfect backdrop of a summer evening.
The filming took place on a closed motocross track in the mountains near Považská Bystrica, which we had all to ourselves. The ride was in the early evening, so the beautiful sunset was reflected in the footage, which added a specific atmosphere to the images. Perfect weather and ideal conditions made this day an unforgettable experience.
The main performer was the latest generation of the legendary BMW R 1300 GS. The motorcycle features a completely new boxer engine with a displacement of 1,300 cc, which produces 145 hp (107 kW) at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The new frame reduces weight, the chassis provides greater steering precision, and the electronics (Dynamic ESA, riding modes, assistance systems) take comfort and safety to a higher level.
The second machine was the new BMW F 900 GS, which shows that even the middle class can offer top performance and technology. It is powered by an 895 cc inline twin-cylinder engine with 105 hp (77 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. This particular machine was equipped with a top-of-the-line Showa suspension, a durable enduro chain, improved components and preparation for more demanding off-road conditions.
The result is a series of breathtaking shots that combine the technical perfection of BMW machines with the atmosphere of a sunset on a Slovak track. This filming day was proof that when professional production, top technology and ideal conditions come together, images are created that will excite every motorcycle fan.
