It's not every day that you get such an ideal mix - well-prepared terrain, great weather and riders who want to push their limits. That's exactly what we experienced during a one-day off-road course at the National Motocross Center Sverepec, where we took an intensive course focused on improving off-road riding skills.
It had rained heavily a few days before the course, creating the perfect surface – soft enough for grip but still legible. And when the sun and pleasant temperatures arrived on the day of the event, we knew we were in for a riding treat.
Two experienced riders arrived for the training – both on their new machines, including a fresh BMW R 1300 GS Adventure automatic, which was just begging to be tested in real off-road conditions. Together we tackled the more challenging sections without any unnecessary delay – it was clear that these were not beginners, but riders with the feel, technique and willingness to go further.
The goal of our enduro school is not just to show riders new techniques, but above all to teach them how to handle them. During the day, we covered a wide variety of sections – from steep climbs and even steeper descents, through technical forest roads to bumps that tested both body and technique.
We also focused on correct throttle control and clutch operation, which are key not only for enduro riding, but also for a safe return to paved roads. And this is where modern BMW R 1300 GS – a motorcycle that combines comfort with off-road confidence.
