This week we did a 2-day off-road trip with a small group of touring enduro riders. The experience was not only from the beauty of the Slovak nature of eastern Slovakia, but also from riding and education directly in the field. In different sections, we explained several passing techniques and at the same time had fun in a good team. We had prepared special permits for entering the forests for all riders.
The weather was kind to us, the first day we had sunny weather, although the forests were wet in places. The weather held up the second day as well, when the rain caught us only at the end. However, we didn't mind because we used a heated tub with warm water.
Participants from different parts of the country appreciated the accommodation in the mountain hut, which was a huge advantage. In a beautiful mountain environment, after a hard day, the riders could take a shower in peace, change their things and prepare for the next day. The route was prepared to be passable in all conditions.
On the first day, we managed to cross 100 km of terrain, and on the second day another 60 km.
A big advantage was the provision of medical and technical assistance in the form of an accompanying vehicle.
The off-road trip was a great experience and we believe that the participants took away new knowledge and will improve their skills in handling a motorcycle.
