From January 13th to 17th, we set off on an unforgettable adventure to sunny Almeria, Spain, to test the new BMW Motorrad models for 2025. The weather was perfect for a motorcycle: temperatures from 14 to 20 degrees, mostly sunny days and only a slight wind. Perfect riding conditions! We were accommodated in a 4* hotel, just 50 meters from the sea, with a direct view to the east and a magical sunset. We enjoyed lunch during the trips, often stopping for local tapas to taste real Spanish cuisine.
Day 1: Getting to know each other and first rides
The first day started with a workshop where we focused on setting up and customizing the individual motorcycles. During the initial rides we had the opportunity to get to know their characteristics and reactions on the Spanish roads. This day was ideal for getting in the mood for the upcoming adventures.
Day 2: On-road trip
On Tuesday, we set off on a 200-kilometer motorcycle trip. During the trip, there was individual riding instruction – each rider had the opportunity to ride with an instructor who assessed their abilities and provided tips on improving their technique. It was a unique opportunity to hone their skills and learn from the pros.
Day 3: Serpentines and mountain adventures
Wednesday was all about the mountain twists and turns. We covered around 300 kilometres during the day, passing through beautiful scenery and sharp bends, showcasing the skills of the bikes and riders. This day was the highlight of the event for many. We also stopped to take a look at the race track - Circuit of Almeria.
Day 4: Off-road adventure
On Thursday we changed the surface and went off-road on the GS models. The off-road trip included easier terrain where we could test how these bikes behave off-road. It was fascinating to experience their versatility and stability in a variety of Enduro environments.
Day 5: Coastal drive
On our last day, we said goodbye to Spain with a ride along the coast. The scenery of the blue sea and endless roads was the perfect ending to this riding adventure.

Tour: R 1250 RT, K 1600 GT
Heritage: R 18 Roctane, R 12 NineT
Adventure: F 800 GS, F 900 GS, R 1300 GS
These models delivered a unique riding experience and showed that BMW Motorrad is setting the bar even higher for 2025.
What do the participants think?
The whole event went great – no accidents, no damaged motorbikes, just pure riding joy. Participants appreciated the opportunity to try out models that are not commonly available in Slovakia or the Czech Republic.
